 Whippendell Road Improvements

The council is upgrading Whippendell Road Parade as part of our town-wide parades improvement programme.

📍 Project Focus: Improvements are targeting the sections between Southsea Avenue & Burton Avenue, and Durban Road West & Park Avenue. What to Expect:

✨ Enhanced Look & Feel: New high-quality concrete paving, greenery, and improved business frontages.

🚶‍♂️ Better Accessibility & Safety: Upgraded pedestrian crossings, protective bollards, and improved road safety measures.

🚌 Transport Upgrades: Special kerbs for safer bus access and maintained bike stands to encourage cycling.
