Facilities at the station had been downgraded in the years prior to closure and as the station was initially only temporarily closed, the remaining station furniture, including the lampposts, signage and drivers mirrors, was left in situ. More than fifteen years on, despite nature reclaiming the station, the station furniture largely remains in place although both mirrors have now collapsed and almost all of the signage has disappeared, in contrast to the signage at street-level which remains in place (2013)
